Metamorfosi
(Italian language version of The Metamorphosis)
Franz Kafka’s hugely influential, tragicomic, iconic novella is brought vividly to life in this international co-production between Vanishing Point, Tron Theatre and Emilia Romagna Teatro Fondazione (Italy).
In October 2021, Vanishing Point presented the Italian language version of The Metamorphosis, Metamorfosi, at VIE Festival in Italy. It premiered at Teatro Bonci, Cesena before transferring to Teatro Ermanno Fabbri, Vignola, and was performed by an Italian cast, including Nico Guerzoni, who also performs in the English language version.
VIE Festival - founded and organised by Emilia Romagna Teatro Fondazione - takes place annually in the cities of Modena, Bologna and Cesena, and celebrates contemporary creation. The festival aims to platform new performance work that raises questions and inspires thought, particularly work where theatre interacts with dance, music, visual art and cinema.
