Stammer ProductionsStammer - formerly "Body Document" - was set up as a means to produce performance works involving artists working in the areas of choreography and trans-disciplinary performance practice. As Initiator of this project, Colette was interested, after some exploratory work with the painter Mark Sadler, in looking to the frontier between artistic disciplines and how through dialogue and exchange new working methodologies could emerge. As an extension of this practice a number of informal "salon" meetings took place in Glasgow with practitioners from the fields of architecture, visual art and performance. A number of performance works resulted from this collaborative working structure including Corps/Responding with musician Peter Dowling (NRLA commission 04), Reasons to Go On with Portuguese artist Joclesio Azevedo (Ze Dos Bois Gallery Lisbon 04) and 'Fflok' Tryptch 06 with musicians Belle and Sebastian. Future projects include working more closely with film and dance and a new large- scale work for Tramway in 2008. To visit Stammer's website, click here www.stammerproductions.com |
