Interiors was originally a co-production with Napoli Teatro Festival Italia, Mercadante Teatro Stabile di Napoli and Traverse Theatre in association with Lyric Hammersmith and Tron Theatre. Interiors was developed with the support of the National Theatre Studio.

Interiors premiered at the Traverse Theatre (Edinburgh) on 3rd April 2009 before touring to macrobert (Stirling) and The Lemon Tree (Aberdeen). It then transferred to the Lyric Hammersmith (London) on 21st April 2009, before completing its UK tour at Tron Theatre (Glasgow) in May. Interiors was then performed at the Napoli Teatro Festival Italia in June.
