Lost Ones is available for touring to medium-scale venues.

Requirements:

Get in

The company requires full access to theatre and equipment from 9am at least two days prior to first performance.

Space

  • A flat playing area min. 7.4m wide x 7m deep x 4.2m high.
  • A sprung floor is preferable. Depending on the venue, we can bring our own floor.
  • Good blackout.
  • An end-on or thrust stage formation.

Lighting

  • 60 channels of dimming, 60 channel programmable lighting desk. (A minimum version of the lighting design can be made with 36 channels).

Sound

  • Mixing desk with at least 3 available stereo inputs, standard playback set-up (3 minidisc players are used in the show).

Facilities

  • 2 dressing rooms with mirrors, costume rail, running water, tea and coffee making facilities and bottled water.
  • Shower facilities.
  • Rehearsal space, approximately 8m square, for the use of the performers for the duration of the get-in period.
  • Access to laundry facilities including washer, drying  and ironing equipment.

Crew and Operation

  • Crew to assist with unloading, get-in and construction.
  • Electricians for hang and focus.
  • 1 sound technician, for problem solving prior to performance.
  • For get out the company requires a crew to assist with disassembly and loading of set
  • The company provides its own operators. The company requires that these personnel be allowed to operate all equipment for technical rehearsals and performances. The company technical manager must be allowed to operate backstage during performances.

Work schedule

  • Lights should be hung and coloured prior to the company’s arrival, in consultation with the lighting designer, whose details will be supplied.
  • The first day is given over to set construction and sound set up.
  • The second day will be used for further adjustments to the set, lighting focus and fine-tuning.
  • The third day will be used for rehearsals and problem solving.

Touring specification

  • Freight: 500kg, dimensions suitable for a Luton van (4m x 2m x 2.5m)
  • Touring company of 10

Note for consideration: The set includes a solid structure 7.2m wide and 4.2m high and 2.5m deep (in the upstage part of the playing area).

Fee guide (excluding travel, accommodation & subsistence): £12,500 for the first week of an international tour. This fee includes one week of re-rehearsal. If a promoter books more than one week of performances, or a tour, then  the fee for each subsequent week is reduced to is reduced to £8000 per week, excluding travel, accommodation and subsistence. These fees are subject to alteration, negotiation and fluctuating exchange rates. Workshops, talks, school visits and post show discussions are included in the pricing structure.
