Fixed Term contract: Aug 2019 – May 2020
(3 days a week / 21 hours a week)
Salary: £28,000 pro rata
Based at the Company’s Office in Glasgow

Vanishing Point is an independent theatre company based in Glasgow, internationally recognised and acclaimed for its innovative and experimental new work. Vanishing Point creates original new theatre, fusing text, design, music, sound and vision.

Our perspective is international and multicultural. We collaborate with artists and producers from other countries and cultures, us travelling to them and them to us, thereby enriching life experiences, artistic experiences, the diversity of our respective cultures and the lives of our audiences. We create work that overcomes language barriers and communicates across cultures.

We are seeking a committed, enthusiastic individual who will form part of the core team to deliver its 2019 & 2020 Programme of work. Your responsibilities will include developing and delivering the Company’s Learning Points’ programme, producing a small-scale tour planned for 2020, supporting the team, general management activities and assist with the delivery of the Company’s main production planned for Spring 2020.

We are looking for someone who is pro-active, a good communicator, can work on their own initiative as well as within a team, has a passion and interest in the arts, has knowledge of creative learning and project management and has experience in delivering productions and activities.

Closing date for applications is 5pm on Tuesday 25 June and interviews will take place on Wednesday 3 and Thursday 4 July in Glasgow. The successful candidate will be notified by Monday 8 July. Start date is in August (date is negotiable).
